A park contains two trees, an oak and a pine, on flat ground. If at 3 pm, the shadow from the pine is 32 feet long and the shadow from the oak is 40 feet long, how tall is the oak tree? Approximately how tall is the oak tree? (1) The pine is 24 feet tall. (2) The oak is 90 feet from the pine.
The Question does not states that the trees are adjusent to each other, therefore an assumption is required that both the trees are on the same point.
