If c is a positive integer between 1 and 9, inclusive, and n = 9,446 + c, then what is the value of c? (1) n is divisible by 5. (2) n is divisible by 9.
In the last paragraph, when n is divisible by 5, "c" can be 4 or 9. In the next sentence it states, "if n is divisible by 9, you can add the digits and find what the nearby multiples of 9 are." Which digits are you adding?
