Introduction to Numbers
Numbers are very deceptive. We all think that we know numbers very
well. But numbers are complex and they are real. There are as many
irrational ones as rational. Some of them are perfect and few others are
polite.
Example
These are logical questions. Ask these
questions to the students. Give them 1 minute to think.
· A farmer has problems with mice eating his corn. He knows that
five cats can kill five mice in five minutes. How many cats does he need
to kill one hundred mice in one hundred minutes?
Answer: 5 cats.
