There are two main options: GMAT classroom courses or online courses. Review the pros and cons for each method of preparation.


GMAT CAT Sections
 
The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) consists of two multiple-choice sections (Quantitative and Verbal) as well as an essay section called the Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA).

Quantitative Section
37 questions
75 minutes
Score ranges from 0 to 60 (this typically maxes at 51)
Verbal Section
41 questions
75 minutes
Score ranges from 0 to 60
(this typically maxes at 51)

You'll receive an overall scaled score, ranging from 200 to 800. This overall score your Math and Verbal scores combined. The 200 to 800 cumulative score is what business schools primarily use.
